Upgrade the fierce TIE Advanced with powerful cluster or concussion missiles, and demolish even the toughest enemies. A noted improvement on the widely used TIE fighter, this fighter features shielding and improved weapon systems. We would recommend purchasing it if you want to find nice minifigures, and a good-looking set in general since it seems to excel in both categories. The legendary and merciless Darth Vader blasts into furious combat, along with three additional Imperial pilots, in the TIE Advanced Expansion Pack for the X-Wing Miniatures Game.

In general, we have had loads of mixed feelings regarding the set. The set’s playability isn’t that great, as we mentioned, and it left us feeling empty despite having spent at least forty bucks on it. The finished build looks wonderful, while the various SNOT techniques you use while constructing it really make it look the part – But this is where everything ends, really. Apart from that though, the whole thing wasn’t inspiring or didn’t excite us too much. Constructing the jet’s cockpit was nice, even though there were lots of other details found here. We didn’t really expect to enjoy building the 75082 – And to be honest, it wasn’t anything special. The TIE Pilot minifigure is a great redesign, while the Imperial member looks amazing in that tanned suit of his. The other two minifigures in the build, despite the fact that they were slightly overshadowed by the Inquisitor, were also nice. Probably the highlight of any Lego Star Wars Rebels collection. He’s got a lightsaber, his own armor, and a fine face print – One of the best ones we’ve seen. The Inquisitor’s minifigure is, without a doubt, the star of the show. He would make a wonderful addition to a huge collection of Galactic Empire minifigures. Meanwhile, Cumberlayne Aresko’s own minifigure looks just as interesting here as his general appearance in the TV series. In regards to the TIE Fighter Pilot minifigure, he is practically similar to the other TIE Fighter Pilot minifigures from past TIE Fighter builds – With the exception of the very first iteration. He also just happens to be bald in the TV series, so you really shouldn’t feel too ashamed when you take off his helmet and expose the bare scalp on his head. He dons a helmet while flying the fighter jet, while he wears a nicely-molded chest piece. This works similarly since the helicopter blades are meant to fly upwards. He has been granted a brand new and unique kind of lightsaber hilt, which is meant to represent the revolving hilt of his saber from the TV show. Moving on to the minifigures – The one character that stood out the most here has got to be the Grand Inquisitor minifigure.
